Restrictions on Information System Automated Decision-Making
In certain business functions, we may use non-human automated decision-making
mechanisms, such as information systems and algorithms making decisions. If these decisions have a
significant impact on your legitimate rights and interests, you have the right to request an
explanation from us, and we will provide appropriate remedies.
To respond to your requests and ensure security, you may need to provide a written
request and identity verification information for verification purposes. Basic requests usually do
not incur charges, but for repetitive, frequent, or requests beyond a reasonable scope, fees may
apply. We may refuse requests that are unnecessarily repetitive, excessively technical (such as
requiring the development of new systems or fundamental changes to current practices), pose risks to
the legitimate rights of others, or are impractical (such as involving backup tape information).
Cases where we may be unable to respond to your requests include:
(1)
Requests related to our fulfillment of legal obligations;
(2)
Requests directly related to public safety, public health, and significant public
interests;
(3)
Requests directly related to criminal investigations, prosecutions, trials, and
enforcement of judgments;
(4)
Requests where there is sufficient evidence of your subjective malice or abuse of
rights;
(5)
Requests necessary to protect your or others' lives, property, and other important
legitimate rights but difficult to obtain your consent;
(6)
Requests where responding would cause serious harm to your or others' legitimate
rights and interests;
(7)
Requests involving trade secrets;
(8)
Other exceptions as per applicable laws and regulations.
